Max O'Leary - 6
Didn't have a save to make in the first-half although would have been relieved to have seen Yates dribble the ball out of play. Made an easy save in the second half but had little else to do.
George Tanner - 7
A no-frills performance by the right-back who stuck to his task. Barely gave his opponent Rogers any joy down his side and was timely in venturing forward with his runs.
Zak Vyner - 6
A big let-off in the first half when he misjudged a bouncing ball, allowing Yates through on goal. Aside from that, was comfortable alongside Pring against an ineffective Blackpool attack.
Cam Pring - 7
Doesn't look out of place playing as a left-sided central defender. Another solid performance, winning the aerial duels and building from the back. May have done enough to put Yates off when he was played through on goal.
Jay Dasilva - 7
Linked up well with Mehmeti on the left and got into advanced areas. Produced some excellent crosses, one of which should have been buried by Wells. Faced the prospect of a difficult test up against Josh Bowler but dealt with him well.
Andy King - 7
Really comfortable in the midfield role. Wasn't particularly pressured with the ball at feet but proved his fitness by getting around the pitch to maintain possession and break up play.
Alex Scott - 8
Given the freedom of Ashton Gate in that deeper role with Blackpool happy to allow him to have the ball. Looked as though he was playing a training ground exercise for the majority of the game and scored his first league goal of the season to put the game beyond doubt with a smart finish.
Andi Weimann - 8
Looked to get forward at every opportunity, almost playing as the main striker with Wells dropping behind. Patience was rewarded in the second half with a superb left-footed effort into the top corner to open the scoring.
Anis Mehmeti - 6
Saw plenty of the ball in the first half and was direct in his play, knowing he had the beating of his full-back. Just needed to be more effective with his final ball having run down blind alleys on a handful of occasions.
Nahki Wells (off 89, Bell) - 6
Dropped deep to win his aerial battles and linked others into play effectively in the first half. Battled well and ran the channels but had little luck in terms of chances with crosses not falling for him.
Mark Sykes (off 66, Cornick) - 6
Got into some really good positions, particularly in the first half, but crosses were wide of the mark. Was far from happy with Mehmeti in the first half when he opted to go for goal instead of feeding Sykes free inside the area. Worked in tandem with Tanner to keep Rogers out of the game.
Substitutes
Harry Cornick (on 66, Sykes) - 7
Played his part in City's second when he shrugged off his defender on the right before drilling an effort into the area which deflected into Scott's path. A positive cameo from the bench.
Omar Taylor-Clarke (on 80, King) - N/A
A good moment for the youngster to get his first taste of league action.
Sam Bell (on 89, Wells) - N/A
Subs not used: Haikin, Wilson, Francois, Wood
