Bristol casino creates jobs after £500,000 refurbishment

A casino in Bristol has undergone a £500,000 refurbishment and created seven new jobs.

The Grosvenor Casino on Anchor Road has upgraded its gaming equipment as well as its bar and sports lounge area as part of the revamp.

Both exterior and interior areas of the venue have also been redesigned, with an official event scheduled for Saturday (April 2) to mark the launch.

The gambling chain, which is one of the largest casino operators with more than 50 sites nationwide, said the move would also enable it to add to its workforce in the city, including within the gaming team.

Karl Grossman, general manager of Grosvenor Casino Bristol, said: “With great nights out set to make a comeback in the city, we’re proud to have created a vibrant and modern entertainment venue for our guests.

"A new look gaming experience, sports lounge and restaurant will be on offer, and we can’t wait to hear what customers think of the changes.

“We pride ourselves on being members of our local community and our investment will help create jobs and opportunities for everyone.”
