A parliamentary committee chaired by a Bristol MP is asking passengers to share their experiences of delays and cancellations at airports. The Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Committee, chaired by North West Bristol MP Darren Jones, is calling for people to tell them about any problems they have faced via an online survey.
The responses will help MPs to question airline and airport bosses at an evidence session on June 14. Passengers at airports across the United Kingdom, including at Bristol Airport, have reported delays and cancellations for weeks.
In Bristol, passengers have reported 6-hour delays and baggage reclaim 'nightmares', while one man travelling to Spain for his birthday recently had his flight cancelled after he had already boarded the plane.
