Bristol Airport is coming under yet more stick, as passengers continue to suffer long queues and delays. People have been forced to queue up outside the airport, while other lines have stretched on for hours.
It's led to the airport warning people not to arrive too early, despite the chaos. That's despite the usual advice to arrive in plenty of time.
So what should passengers do? And how can we beat the queues?

What does Bristol Airport say?
After the latest delays, the airport said: "We are sorry customers experienced an above average check-in and security queue this morning (Thursday 19 May). The maximum queue time at check-in did not exceed 43 minutes and security queue time did not exceed 90 mins; no delays were experienced at bag-drop desks.
"We work closely with all business partners and airline handling agents to ensure staffing levels are sufficient to provide a good service to passengers. We constantly review resourcing across all areas and adapt plans to meet demand and build in resilience where possible.
“We appreciate the frustration experienced by customers currently and please be reassured our teams are working exceptionally hard to assist customers throughout the airport journey.
“All business partners are continuing to recruit and train new colleagues, but this takes time. We advise all customers to check with the airline when their check-in / bag-drop desk opens and arrive in the terminal at this time – do not arrive too early as customers will not be able to check-in.”
How can I beat the queues then?
Nothing is free in life, and so there is of course a paid fast track service. This gets you a private lane in security that will likely be shorter than the regular line.
If you book online, this costs £6 per person. And if you sign up to the airport's Rewards newsletter, you get 15 per cent off that price, making it £5.10 per person.
The airport says fast track customers will always be given priority over regular passengers. Bear in mind, however, that children, including babies, will need their own fast track pass.
Is there anything else I can do?
The usual advice applies. Bristol Airport advises passengers to arrive "at least two hours ahead of the scheduled time of departure and allow plenty of time for traffic, parking and security search". It also says the busiest time at the airport is between 4am and 7.30am - worth bearing in mind.
One option that can speed things up is checking in online ahead of travelling to the airport. That means you should only have to drop your bag off before security.
If you want to be even speedier, consider travelling light: if you only take cabin bags with you, you can head straight to security and skip the bag-drop queues entirely. Plus, have your boarding pass and passport to hand to cut down on those micro-delays.
To speed up your progress through security, consider buying transparent plastic wallets in advance for your toiletries - unless you're checking them into the hold, of course - so you don't have to open up your case and hold up yourself and people behind you. You could also try taking your belt, watch, and jewellery off while in the queue and putting them in your bag ready for when you get to the front.
