One Bristol area is among the hottest in the UK today (August 10). Bristol / Lulsgate, which is the area surrounding Bristol Airport, is currently 9th hottest in the UK as of 7.30am this morning, with temperatures having hit 18C at 2am according to Netweather.tv.
Throughout the day, this Bristol area is expected to stay within the top 20 hottest locations across the country, as temperatures heat up again. This comes as the Met Office announce another 'extreme heat' weather warning for the UK.
In Bristol later this week, temperatures could hit 36 degrees as a result. In July, we saw the impact of near 40 degree dizzying temperatures, with fountains running dry and Wapping Wharf cargo container restaurants having to close in the extreme heat for the wellbeing of staff.
