Tottenham will be looking to bounce back from their North London Derby defeat to Arsenal on Saturday with three points in their next Premier League outing. And it is another outing, with another away clash, this time on the south coast against Brighton & Hove Albion next Saturday.
It will not be an easy encounter for Spurs, with Brighton sitting fourth in the Premier League table and going into the game off the back of a fine performance in a 3-3 draw away at Liverpool. And the fixture at the Amex Stadium will go ahead as planned, despite there being some confusion over the match.
Brighton had inadvertently hinted that the game may be spotponed in a graphic on their official Twitter account. After a clip of the bench cam action from Roberto de Zerbi's first time on the touchline, a 'Next at the Amex' graphic was shown.

That graphic said that Nottingham Forest was next up on October 18, followed by a clash against Chelsea on Saturday, October 29. That suggested the Spurs fixture may be postponed, which would not be outside the realms of possibility given there are due to be rail strikes again on Saturday.
Fourteen rail companies are set to strike on October 8, bringing a halt to many services. But it will not bring a halt to the Premier League clash at the Amex.
Brighton have already seen a game impacted by rail strikes this season, with their game against Crystal Palace on Saturday, September 17 called off due to 'exceptional circumstances relating to the planned industrial action on the rail network'. However, that is not the case this time around.
The game against Spurs was still being shown on Brighton's fixture list on their official club website. And football.london understands the graphic shown on Twitter was an advert for tickets for upcoming games that were stuill available. The Spurs game is sold out and that is why it was not advertised in the graphic.
