
‘Property investor’ isn’t a title usually associated with Helen Fielding’s eponymous heroine Bridget Jones.
But the oft-underestimated character is of a generation who managed largely to avoid the finger-wagging “maybe if you slugged less Chardonnay you’d be able to afford a boxy new-build in Hell” maths and buy in to London property young, reaping sometimes vast rewards.
