It was another unsatisfactory day at the office for Brendan Rodgers as his Leicester side shared the points with Crystal Palace at the King Power stadium.
The Saturday lunchtime kick-off ended in a goalless draw, which means Rodgers' side have taken just give points from ten games played in their 2022/23 Premier League campaign. And the disappointing form has left the ex- Celtic gaffer in hot water with many calling for his head before the battle becomes a relegation one as the season ploughs on.
The boss' pay off bill is sure to be something in Leicester chiefs' minds, with the 49-year-old to be paid at least £10 million in compensation if he was sacked as manager of Leicester City, according to reports. However, player turned pundit Gabby Agbonlaho insists the club need to compare the bill against the potential losses they face if results continue and relegation to the Championship occurs.
Speaking on talkSPORT, Agbonlahor saiad: "That's a game today, and last week against Bournemouth, where they (Leicester) need to be picking up six points from. Because there are tougher games to come.
"They've played 10 games and they've got five points. That's relegation form. They're in a relegation fight.
"Whatever it is for Brendan Rodgers to pay him off, I would do it, bring in someone fresh with different ideas. They've got the players."
