Liz Truss has confirmed she will end 'no fault' evictions after concerns mounted she was poised to drop the ban.
The Prime Minister was said to be ready to shelve plans - promised by Boris Johnson in the 2019 Tory manifesto - to stop landlords being able to end a tenancy without giving a reason.
Yesterday, Downing Street said "no decisions have been made" on whether to pause the promised ban on section 21 notices.
