Crystal Palace's Premier League match with Brighton later this month has been postponed due to planned rail strikes.
The Eagles were due to travel to the Amex Stadium to face their fierce rivals on Saturday, September 17, but it has now been confirmed by both clubs that the game has now been postponed, with planned industrial action on the rail network affecting travel routes to the stadium for supporters.
Brighton chief executive Paul Barber said: "Both clubs wanted the match to take place on the original date and there has been continued dialogue in order to achieve this with all relevant authorities, including Sussex and Surrey Police, other local emergency services and agencies, Brighton & Hove City Council, the Premier League and Crystal Palace.
