Despite failing to score any points during three rounds of Olympic competition, Gunn managed to clinch the gold at last year's Oceania Championship, propelling her to the top spot in the world rankings. It is worth noting that the Federation clarified that scores from the Olympics and Olympic qualifiers do not factor into the ranking list.
