Brave boy, 4, died after 'continuing to prove doctors wrong'

A brave four-year-old boy who died after battling a rare condition has been described by his heartbroken dad as a "fighter".

Wyatt Golden-Caulfield was diagnosed with a rare type of muscular dystrophy, a condition that causes progressive muscle weakness and affects breathing. He continued to defy doctor's predictions, after being told he would never "sit up on his own, talk or eat".

The four-year-old died at Derian House Children’s Hospice in 2021.
