Bradley Walsh's son has landed himself a huge role in a well-established BBC drama.
Barney Walsh - who stars alongside his dad in ITV's The Larkins - has been announced as one of the guest stars in the up and coming 12th season of Death in Paradise.
The Mirror reports that fans of the 24-year-old were delighted by the news which broke on Monday night, with many flocking to the socials to congratulate the actor on his latest TV venture.

It was the official Twitter account for Death in Paradise which broke the news, sharing a snap of Barney smiling for the cameras in a blue polo shirt as he posed at the controls for a boat. Captioning the shot, the TV show's official account wrote: "We’re thrilled to announce #TheLarkins’ Barney Walsh is one of our series 12 guest stars!"
"Yay, love Barney Walsh. Looking forward to watching the episode he's guest starring in," one happy viewer quipped underneath the update, with another adding: "Yes ...love Barney."
Kate and Koji star Okorie Chukwu and After Life's Jo Hartley have also been confirmed as future guest stars when the popular BBC drama returns next year. Death in Paradise has seen Ben Miller (series 1–2, guest series 3 and 10), Kris Marshall (series 3–6), Ardal O'Hanlon (series 6–9) and Ralf Little (series 9–present) all take on lead roles in the crime drama since the BBC show first premiered back in 2011.
A Christmas special is expected to broadcast in December, with the 12th series returning the following month for another eight episodes. Barney is seemingly following in his father's footsteps and carving out a career for himself in the entertainment industry, after appearing alongside Bradley on the hugely popular ITV series Bradley Walsh & Son: Breaking Dad.
In the reality TV series, the father and son duo embark on a coming of age road trip across several countries, with the title of the show being a play on the American crime drama Breaking Bad. Not only has Barney starred alongside his father in their docu-series and ITV drama The Larkins, the young actor has also made appearances in various television dramas and movies including Doctors, Law & Order, and King Arthur: Legend of the Sword.
"He has always been my son, and you always take care of them. But then all of a sudden he becomes your equal and a work colleague, and a mate, and someone you respect," dad Bradley has previously gushed when discussing what it is like to work with his son.
He continued on This Morning, saying: "Now I look up to him. Barney, bless him, was directing me on some of the things 'Dad don't worry about this, you need to be thinking about this', and actually producing me."
