Police are hunting a pair of mobile phone robbers who struck three times in one day in south-eastLondon.
All of the victims targeted in the spree were 14-year-old boys, and all were approached at railway stations or on trains, Scotland Yard revealed on Tuesday.
The first incident on June 27 came at roughly 4pm, when a 14-year-old at West Dulwich station was approached by two other teenagers who struck up a conversation with him.
They threatened him with violence before stealing his phone.
Less than an hour later, about 4.45pm, another 14-yer-old boy boarded a train at Beckenham Junction train station, and sat around the middle of the train.
Five minutes later, the same two boys entered the carriage and began chatting to him before trying to steal his phone. On this occasion they did not succeed.
Around 7pm, another 14-year-old boy boarded a train at Catford Bridge station headed towards Charing Cross.
The same two boys pinned him to the back of the train and stole his mobile phone, after threatening him with violence.
British Transport Police released CCTV images of two young men officers believe may have information that could help with their investigation.
