A teenage boy rushed to help a "young girl" after she had collapsed in Liverpool city centre.
Jake Smith, 16, was on his way to visit his nan in Liverpool when he heard a commotion close to Lime Street station. After hearing a "group of kids" shouting for help, Jake rushed to see what had happened.
After approaching the group, he saw a young girl, he believed to be around 13, lay unconscious on the floor. He told the ECHO : "I had just finished work, I'm in the army so I'd just got the train back and was on my way to my nan's.

"There was a group of kids shouting for help so I couldn't just ignore it so I went and had a look. There was a girl laying unconscious on the floor, her mates were saying she was only 13."
Jake used his initiative and acted quickly to move the girl into the recovery position, clearing her airways and calling for an ambulance.
He added: "I moved her onto her side and into the recovery position, then I rang an ambulance and waited until there was a paramedic with her."
Jake said that after the girl left in the ambulance he headed on to his nan's but hasn't been able to stop thinking about the incident and if the girl is okay.
He spoke to the ECHO in he hope that someone may know her or her family and be able to confirm if she was alright.
He added: "I haven't heard anything since and I would just like to know if she is alright after all of that."
