Two boys aged 12 and 14 are to appear in court accused of stealing alcohol during a break-in at a restaurant in Bolton. The pair have been charged with burglary following the alleged incident at Retreat in Bromley Cross.
In a statement on the GMP Bolton North Facebook page police said the alleged break-in took place at the Darwen Road venue on December 1. The two youths, who cannot be named for legal reasons, are accused of entering the building via an adjoining outbuilding.

It's alleged they then stole alcohol, attempted to start a fire and damaged furniture. They will appear at Salford youth court on December 19.
