The Boston Celtics hope to capitalize on their post All-Star Week momentum with a win over the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden after defeating the Chicago Bulls at United Center earlier in the week.
To do it, they will need to beat up a deceptively dangerous Knicks squad. They have improved over the 2024 NBA trade deadline and had been playing well despite injuries to several key frontcourt players thanks to their newfound depth before a recent four-game skid. Boston lists no players on their injury report, but as alluded to above, will be without Julius Randle (shoulder), OG Anunoby (elbow), and Mitchell Robinson (ankle).
Miles McBride is also questionable with a non-covid illness.
