The Boston Celtics are looking like a solid bet to finish out the postseason representing the NBA’s Eastern Conference in the 2022 NBA Finals according to new odds released by Tipico Sportsbook US. The Sports Betting Provider of USA TODAY sites sees the Celtics as the third most likely bet to represent the East in the Finals at +425 to win out as Eastern Conference champions, with only the Milwaukee Bucks (+240) and Brooklyn Nets (+320) posting better odds to win the conference.
Boston is followed fairly closely by the Miami Heat (+480) and Philadelphia 76ers (+500), with the Toronto Raptors (+2,000), Chicago Bulls (+3,000), Atlanta Hawks (+5,000), and Charlotte Hornets (+10,000) trailing considerably further behind in odds projections.
Currently in the East’s second seed and awaiting the winner of the seven – eight play-in game for their first-round opponent, it is not unlikely the Celtics will have the toughest path of any contender to hanging a banner.

To do so, they may need to play not only the two teams with better odds to win it all (Milwaukee and Brooklyn) in Tipico’s estimation, but also the team next after them (Miami) to make it to the Finals.
