One of the best things about the three-on-three men’s basketball league The Big3 since it started has been seeing retired NBAers back on the court, having a good time while rekindling some of those moments from their glory years in a new format and league.
So when you mix in an alumnus of the Boston Celtics who had been going through some rough personal moments not so long ago, it adds some extra positivity into the picture. We are of course speaking of former Celtics guard Delonte West, who is — according to a recent tweet from that league’s account on the social media network — trying out for the Big3’s coming season.
His personal issues seemingly behind him after several people from teams he’s played on in the past reached out to see if they could get him back on track, it’s absolutely killer to see West not only looking like he’s doing well again but gearing up to play a sport that he dedicated so much of his life to.
