Borussia Dortmund were spotted training on a £1,000-an-hour hired pitch in London prior to their crunch Champions League clash against Chelsea.
Edin Terzic's side lead 1-0 after the first-leg in Germany thanks to Karim Adeyemi's strike, but are aware the tie certainly isn't over just yet as they travel to Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night.
Dortmund flew over to England on Monday and trained at Chelsea's ground in the evening in preparation for the game as they attempt to extend their winning run to 11 matches since the World Cup break.
But the German side decided to train once more on the day of the match and were caught having a pre-game warm-up at the Artillery Ground in Islington. Situated a 20-minute walk from St Paul's Cathedral, the private venue belongs to the Honourable Artillery Company and is also associated to the British Army.
As well as football, cricket, rugby and archery are amongst the other sports that are hosted at the facility - with the pitch price costing £1,000 per hour plus VAT. But Dortmund decided they wanted to hire out the bobbly surface and conduct a light session ahead of their clash in west London.
This isn't the first time Dortmund have trained at the random ground on the day of a game. Back in 2014, they chose to undertake a session at Regent's Park before the trip to Arsenal.
Dortmund, who were then managed by Jurgen Klopp, trained on the public park as his side prepared to face Arsene Wenger's Gunners in the Champions League. However, the park is usually used to hosting matches in the Camden and Regent's Park Sunday league - not a fully-fledged European giant.
After they decided to do a pre-match warm up-type session, Dortmund travelled to the Emirates Stadium that evening, but were beaten 2-0 by Arsenal. Yaya Sanogo and Alexis Sanchez both netted for the Gunners.
They will be hoping for a different outcome when they make the trip to Chelsea as they aim to qualify for the Champions League quarter-finals for just the second time in six years. Captain Marco Reus spoke to the press before the game and admitted he is expecting a "very hard" match against Graham Potter's men.
He said: "People know that Chelsea are not in good moment, but in the first leg they played well and our victory wasn’t easy. Now for Chelsea, this match will be key, it is their match of the season, and that means we can expect an enormous and significant amount of pressure from the first minute.
"I expect a very hard match in London and while our advantage is small, it at least permits us to manage the situation. We are in a good moment and that is positive, although nobody thinks we can go to England and be calm.
"Chelsea have an excellent squad with some very big names and it is very rare that they are not in an excellent position in the Premier League. Now, I hope that Chelsea don’t reawaken this week in London.
"We know the importance of this Tuesday because we are dreaming of going very far in the Champions League. And the key to this game for us will be our mentality."
