Boris Johnson’s woes escalated on Wednesday as a poll showed the Tories plunging a startling 32 points behind Labour in London over the “Partygate” scandal as frenzied talk grew of a no-confidence vote in the PM.
The yawning gap between Labour and the Conservatives is the biggest in a YouGov survey of the capital for at least 12 years.
