Borders-based estate agency Paton & Co has appointed Fiona Pagett as a new partner.
She joins from rival agency Rettie & Co, where she was a senior sales negotiator and valuer.
Based in the Borders village of Broughton, Pagett will primarily cover the Peeblesshire area.
A former broadcast journalist with Grampian TV and STV, she went on to be head of communications for Business in the Community Scotland, developing and leading BITC Scotland’s Rural Programme. Pagett started her career in property working with Purplebricks.

Paton & Co launched in early 2021, headed up by husband-and-wife team Patrick and Celia Paton, a property marketing specialist.
In September 2021, the estate agency expanded into Berwickshire and Northumberland.
The business added to the team with the appointment of operations manager Tamara Inness in August 2022.
