A Boots worker is advising shoppers to look for a specific marking on labels to get an instant discount on their shopping. With Christmas around the corner, many of us, including Martin Lewis fans, are flocking to Boots to get a deal.
Boots has already slashed the price of hundreds of products online, including premium fragrances. Some designer fragrances have been branded 'the cheapest shoppers have seen', so it's well worth a look if you're wanting expensive Christmas gifts on a budget.
But a Boots employee says there are other things you can do to make sure you save as much money as possible. Including looking out for label markings online and in store.

Speaking to the Sun, customer advisor Maria Pike said: "It is my job to deliver exceptional care to our Boots customers, whether that is helping them to find something specific, answering any questions they might have and showing them how to get the best deals at Boots. At this time of year, you will often find me helping people to look for the perfect present for a family member or a secret Santa present for someone at work."
Maria went on to explain that the best value items if you're looking for Christmas presents are Boots' Star Gifts. She said: "Star Gifts are better than half price and are featured across many categories, including premium beauty, electrical beauty and fragrance. They also include lots of customer favourite brands, such as No7, Liz Earle and Soap & Glory."
Boots currently has over a hundred Star Gifts on its website which have been slashed by as much as 70% - you can find them all here. Martin Lewis recently recommended the No7 The Ultimate Skincare Collection 10-Piece Gift Set, which has been reduced down from £85 to £41.
Before the No7 The Ultimate Skincare Collection 10-Piece Gift set was reduced as a Star Gift, Martin advised shoppers to wait. Now it's cheaper than ever, and shoppers have been rushing to get their hands on one ahead of Christmas.
Another popular Boots Star Gift is the Liz Earle Purify & Refresh Skincare 6-Piece Gift Set. The Liz Earle Purify & Refresh Skincare 6-Piece Gift Set is worth £85, but has been reduced to £34 - making for a huge saving.
The Boots employee then went on to explain that Advantage Card holders should always look for a marking on product labels if you want to get an instant discount. Referring to the "Price Advantage" scheme, she explained that Boots shoppers will get instant lower prices on over 900 products a month.
Maria said: "The average saving is £2.65 per product, but customers have saved a huge £21million since the start of the year. Just look out for the products marked ‘Price Advantage’ in pink either in stores or at boots.com.”
