Bookmakers suspend betting on Roy Keane amid next Sunderland manager search

The bookmakers are increasingly confident that Roy Keane will be named the next Sunderland boss with BetVictor and Ladbrokes suspending the betting market on the next Black Cats boss.

However, as we know too well, bookmakers odds are not gospel and a similar incident took place last year.

Betting was suspended last summer with Keane the favourite to take over at his former club Celtic, but a move to the Scottish Premier League side did not transpire.
