MUMBAI: Bombay high court recently appointed a woman as the guardian of her brother in place of their mother who was previously appointed as his guardian but is unable to look after him due to her advanced age.
Justice Riyaz Chagla on October 19 discharged the mother (87) as guardian of her son (69) and appointed and declared the sister as his guardian in respect of his person and his properties and to take all decisions necessary and incidental for his welfare, benefit and upkeep.
