Bomb squad race to Scots street after suspected grenades found in property

The bomb squad have been called to a Scots street following reports of suspected grenades being found within a property.

Emergency services descended on Caledonian Crescent in Edinburgh shortly after 12pm today and cordoned off the area.

Residents in the area are being evacuated as a precaution after officers from Police Scotland contacted the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team.
