Bohemians have bolstered their defensive options ahead of the season kick-off by signing Sam Packham on loan from Brighton.
Packham, 20, has made 13 Premier League 2 appearances this season, having come through the underage ranks at the club and signed his first pro contract two years ago.
Brighton under-23 coach Andrew Crofts said: “This is really good opportunity for Sam to test himself in men’s football and experience the game outside of the academy setup for the first time.
“It represents a good first step into a different environment and we will be keeping a close eye on how he progresses over the rest of the season.”
Meanwhile, Finn Harps have re-signed young midfielder Nathan Logue for the season.
Cardonagh man Logue, who came through the club's underage ranks, made his senior debut for Harps last term and has impressed in pre-season, ahead of the campaign opener against Drogheda on Friday.
"I’m delighted to be a part of the senior team," said Logue. "Making my debut last year was a very proud moment for me and my family having been with the club since the under-15s.
"Myself and Luke (Rudden) have come up together and so seeing him score his first senior goal at the end of last season definitely adds to that drive to work hard and be ready when my chance comes.”
Harps boss Ollie Horgan commented: “Nathan is a good lad who has been with the club for years and has done well now in pre-season.
"The step up to the Premier Division is massive and there is serious competition for places but he has a good attitude and I know that he’ll be ready when called upon.”
