An investigation has been launched after the body of a dead spaniel was found dumped in a Bag for Life outside a cemetery. A vet examination showed the black and white dog was underweight and his coat was drenched in urine.
The grim discovery in Hartlepool was made on Saturday, October 8 by a member of the public. The little dog’s body had been wrapped in a black bin bag and concealed inside a green and yellow Asda shopping bag.
