The body of a snorkeller has been found at the popular Altona Beach in Melbourne's west.
Emergency services were called following reports a man was missing in waters off Altona Beach just after 4pm on Tuesday.
Police have been told the man was snorkelling in the area at the time.
The man, who is yet to be formally identified, was located deceased at the scene.
A report will be prepared for the coroner and the death is not being treated as suspicious.
