The body of a man has been found in a Glasgow hotel room. A probe has been launched by police into the death of the 55-year-old, after officers had been called to Yotel on Argyle Street at roughly 4.20am this morning.
The force had initially been called to reports of a man being found injured at the hotel. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police enquires to establish the circumstances are ongoing.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were called around 4.20am on Friday, 23 December, to a report of a man being found injured at a hotel in Argyle Street, Glasgow.
“Emergency services attended and the 55-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the death, which is not being treated as suspicious.”
