Police searching for a high-powered car stolen from a home in rural Wiltshire have discovered it six days later at an industrial unit in Bristol.
The BMW M3 motor was parked on the driveway of a home in upmarket Upavon, near Devizes in Wiltshire, when the house was burgled in the early hours of August 11, last Thursday.
The homeowner told police they heard the car starting up and driving away at 3am, and discovered the house had been broken into, and the keys to the BMW taken from inside.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: "Officers from our Operation Fortitude team began carrying out inquiries in conjunction with officers from our traffic unit and colleagues in Avon and Somerset Constabulary, and yesterday (Tuesday, August 16) the vehicle was located at a lock-up in a unit off Douglas Road in Kingswood.
"The vehicle has now been recovered and will be subject to forensic examination," the spokesperson said.
"“The homeowner reported that they heard the vehicle being driven away at approximately 3am – we have been conducting extensive enquiries since and yesterday the vehicle was located," added Det Sgt Darren Penny, from Wiltshire Police. "We are continuing with our enquiries and would urge anyone with information to get in touch. Anyone with information should call 101 and quote crime reference number 54220084473.
