BMW torched in late-night firebomb attack outside luxury Lanarkshire villa

A police probe is underway after a car was deliberate torched outside a luxury home in Bothwell.

Police and fire crews were alerted to the scene at the property on Pailis Crescent around 11:55pm on Friday night.

The vehicle in question, a BMW convertible, was parked in the driveway of the £425,000 villa and quickly became engulfed in flames after being set alight, Lanarkshire Live reports.
