The luxury Ibiza restaurant and beach club Blue Marlin is to launch in London at The Mondrian Shoreditch.
Blue Marlin Ibiza London will be a private members’ club, with a rooftop restaurant, sushi and cocktail bar, gym and spa, co-working space, and late-night party venue.
It will be the fourth site from the brand, with sites in Ibiza, Gran Canaria, the United Arab Emirates, and Mexico.
Press material said the London club will operate as a relaxed place to work and dine by day before launch parties and DJ sets will take hold in the evening, a nod to Ibiza’s famous nightlife.
In the restaurant will be a “fusion” of Mediterranean and Asian cuisine, with an emphasis on seafood and cocktails. There is also a rooftop pool, under fairy lights on a wraparound terrace, with views across Liverpool Street.
The Mondrian's general manager, David Lockhart, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Blue Marlin to Shoreditch and to help bring an urban feel to the iconic lifestyle brand. We look forward to working with the Blue Marlin team to create this new hub of entertainment in East London.”
Jelle Oomes, founder of Blue Marlin Ibiza, said the opening is a “significant milestone” for the brand - one that has established itself as one of the Spanish island’s leading spots for a good time.
"We are excited to bring the unique atmosphere and energy of Blue Marlin Ibiza to London, providing a space where people can come together to relax and socialise while enjoying the best in food, drinks, and music,” he said.
