The band formed in 2013, and have since enjoyed widespread success playing sold-out venues and packed festival stages, as well as their biggest gig to date – a triumphant hometown show at Stockport County’s Edgeley Park – in summer 2019.
This summer alone, they’ve performed the headline spot at Y Not? Festival and Truck, as well as their widely praised Glastonbury set, which included a guest appearance from Spice Girl Mel C.
The indie band have also been on the road with The Killers, supporting them at several of their UK stadium shows.
Their fourth studio album, ‘Ribbon Around The Bomb’ was released back in April this year, taking the UK Number 1 album spot. The creative direction of the album and its videos was developed by Arctic Monkeys’ creative director Edwin Burdis, who also directed an accompanying film for the album featuring performances of the band, and premiered at Stockport Plaza.
This week, Blossoms confirmed they would be embarking on an extensive tour in the UK and Ireland. Yesterday, they added an extra Manchester date ‘due to demand’.
Priority tickets for O2 members went on sale on Wednesday, August 3. General sale will launch on Ticketmaster at 9am - you can buy your tickets from £41.80 here.
