Blast at US embassy in Oslo: Explosion causes minor damage; probe under way

United States Oslo Police

An explosion struck the consular section entrance of the United States Embassy in Norway capital Oslo in the early hours of Sunday, police said, adding that no injuries were reported and the cause remains under investigation.

The blast occurred at around 1.00 am local time (5.30 am IST), according to a statement from the Oslo Police Department.
