It would appear Blake Austin isn't a big fan of the scheduling of the season here in the UK. The Leeds Rhinos halfback took to Instagram on Monday to share a picture of him in action during last week's defeat to Huddersfield Giants, but expressed his annoyance in the process.
The international break taking place this weekend means the Rhinos are out of action for a third weekend in seven after Leeds sat out two Challenge Cup weekends. That has seemingly frustrated the Australian halfback, who recently signed a new deal with the club.
Taking to Instagram, the 31-year-old posted a snap with the caption: "This week on week off stuff getting a bit ridiculous, bring on rest of the season."
Austin joined the Rhinos in the off-season from Warrington Wolves and has enjoyed some of his best performances for the club following Rohan Smith's arrival as head coach. Leeds will return to action next Thursday, when they take on Super League champions St Helens at the Totally Wicked Stadium.
The Rhinos are currently eighth in Super League after winning just five of their 15 games so far this season. They are three points off the play-offs with 12 games to play.
