Multiplayer – SG-12 Dragon’s Breath nerf

According to Treyarch, Dragon’s Breath on the SG-12 has been “overperforming and quickly spiking in usage,” so they have dialed it back across the board in Season 4.

Maximum damage range is now between 0 and 3.8m, with base damage reduced from 40 to 30. Pellet damage stays at 12, but the first Medium damage range is now shorter at 3.9-15.2m from 3.9-17.8m.

At medium ranges, Base damage has been nerfed from 32 to 19, Pellet damage from 9 to 6. For Medium damage range 2, the range is from 17.9-26.7m to 15.3-24.1m. Base damage nerfed from 26 to 13, and Pellet damage from 4 to 3.

All gameplay changes in Black Ops 7 Season 4

Season 4 includes key gameplay and mode changes. Black Ops Classic is a brand-new playlist designed around old-school Black Ops pacing and fundamentals. It brings Simplified movement with no sliding, Wall Jumping, or Omnimovement.

There are curated loadouts where you can carefully select default and custom loadouts under restrictions. It has old-school pacing, meaning the mode is intentionally slower and more tactical, with iconic maps, including Firing Range, Raid, Nuketown, Summit, and more to make up the map rotation.

There’s a new Ranked SR system with no more hidden MMR. Ranked party size restrictions are also updated, where Crimson players can once again form parties of up to four. On the other hand, Iridescent and Top 250 players are limited to duos. You can also check our Warzone Season 4 patch notes that include Battle Royale Solos, weapon changes, and Ranked Play adjustments.
