BJP says it has nothing to do with reception hosted for Pakistani players

MUMBAI: The BJP had nothing to do with the reception hosted for the Pakistani cricket players nor was the Board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) responsible for it, said the party's Mumbai unit president Ashish Shelar.

Reacting to Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray's criticism on Sunday that if the BJP can shower flowers on the Pakistan players then why cannot the Sena join hands with the socialist parties. Shelar on Monday said the reception was hosted by the International Cricket Council.
