NEW DELHI: The BJP on Monday came down heavily on the Congress not just inside Parliament but also outside it over an article published in the New York Times about news portal NewsClick alleging that it receives funds from China. The BJP lashed out at the Congress for defending the portal.

BJP Lok Sabha MP Nishikant Dubey raised the issue in the House at noon and alleged that the Congress defends NewsClick which, he alleged, was being funded by China and was being promoted in the country by the “tukde-tukde gang” to break India.
