BJP divided over Rahul Gandhi’s violence-torn Manipur visit

NEW DELHI: The BJP seems to be divided over Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s two-day visit to the strife-torn northeastern state of Manipur. While the BJP state president appreciated the opposition party leader, the central leaders of the ruling party blasted the former Congress president.

Much to the embarrassment of the BJP leadership, party’s Manipur president Adhikarimayum Sharda Devi on Saturday applauded Rahul for his visit and said the issue should not be politicised.
