A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries after a crash involving a Mercedes in the Woolton area.
Police received reports at around 9.50pm last night of a crash involving a car and a motorbike at the junction of Acrefield Road and Hollytree Road.
A police spokesperson said: "The rider of the motorcycle, a man in his 40s, suffered serious injuries to his ankle and was taken to hospital for treatment. The driver of the grey Mercedes, a 17-year-old male, stopped at the scene and assisted with enquires."

Police confirmed no arrests had been made.
