PATNA: The Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) president, Chirag Paswan, on Monday dared the ruling JD(U) to take on its ally BJP directly instead of accusing him of being involved in a well-planned conspiracy to downsize CM Nitish Kumar's political stature in Bihar.
JD(U) national president Rajiv Ranjan alias Lalan Singh had on Sunday said his party was reduced to 43 seats in Bihar in the 2020 assembly polls, compared to 71 seats five years ago, not because of decrease in its mass base but use of "Chirag Model" as part of a well-planned conspiracy to downsize CM Nitish Kumar in the state's politics.
