Lucknow: Here is a big political news from Uttar Pradesh. Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party of Shivpal Yadav on Thursday merged with the Samajwadi Party amid the counting of byelections votes in the state.

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav announced the merger by giving the SP flag to his uncle Shivpal Yadav.

The merger has sent wave of joy among all the functionaries of both the Parties.
