The 2022 season saw the implementation of the split season in the GAA calendar and the year started with All-Ireland wins for both Kilcoo (Senior) and Steelstown (Intermediate).
Derry ended a 24-year end to lift the Anglo Celt Cup at the expense of Donegal, but both the Oak Leafers and Armagh lost out to Galway in the All-Ireland series.
Antrim Ladies won the All-Ireland Junior crown with a replay win over Ulster rivals Fermanagh while the Saffrons defeated Armagh in the All-Ireland Junior Camogie decider.
