Vinnie Brigante‘s exit from the Big Brother house will go down in history as one of the most brutal reality TV eliminations of all time.
Unlike his former housemates, who gracefully left in a live eviction announced by host Mel Tracina, the 21-year-old was booted in the middle of the night after singing “Jingle Bells” in his boxers and a Santa hat.
Which, tbh, sounds exactly like what you’d expect from a dodgy co-worker at the Christmas party.
Perhaps the strangest part of Vinnie’s elimination, however, was the timeline of his exit. He left the house in the early hours of Tuesday morning, but wasn’t shown walking out of the house to chat with Mel until Wednesday night’s live episode.
So, what happened in between?

Big Brother’s Vinnie reveals what happened after his exit
Well, Vinnie told PEDESTRIAN.TV that after he was evicted, he was handed back his phone and went into lockdown for over 24 hours.
“I was hoping I’d be like, thrown in an attic or something, or maybe behind the walls and maybe not actually evicted, but I was evicted. I was gone!” he said.
“I went to a hotel, slept one night and I had a beautiful sleep — as I deserved. Then I had the day after with Mel and got to reflect on my time.”
He added that he didn’t have time to catch up on everything he missed while he was in the house but made sure to contact his family.
“I called my mum, my brother, my dad, my sister. I called everyone and honestly, just spent a long time on the phone with them debriefing the show,” he recalled.
“They were fans of it, obviously, so they had their opinions on people. It was very interesting.”

Vinnie spills on his post-show plans
While he didn’t win the prize money, Vinnie walked away from Big Brother $10k richer after accepting an offer on the show.
“That money will be going towards the family for Christmas, buying my siblings and my mum and my dad some cool presents and hanging out with them with that,” he revealed.
As for what he plans to accomplish himself, the former Deal or No Deal contestant says he’s open to any opportunity coming his way — including a potential foray into acting.
“I love communicating with people and if that’s through songwriting with my music, I’d love to explore that. But if that’s also through the screen, I’d love to do that,” he teased.
“I’d love to get into acting. I’d also love to see where else I could share stories. So if that’s TV, if that’s film, if that’s songwriting, I’ll explore that avenue. But I just love people.”
Given Matt Evans’ successful transition from The Voice contestant to Home and Away cast member in 2021, Vinnie getting his acting bag feels like something we should all be putting on our 2026 bingo card.
