BHOPAL: India hockey player Khushboo Khan, who lives in a shanty in Bhopal, has appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to help her get a pucca house.
TOI had reported in its May 27 edition how the 20-year-old goalie, who has represented the country in several international championships, tours the world but comes home to life in a shanty.
Talking to TOI on Saturday, Khushboo recounted how she has been running from pillar to post to get a pucca house but did not get any help. “I am sure PM Modi will definitely help me. My family lives in a place which is not worth liveable,” she said.
