NAGPUR: In a major boost for young talent in the country, the Basketball Federation of India (BFI) has joined forces with Corvuss American Academy to establish India's first basketball academy at Karjat, near Mumbai.
The academy will provide full scholarships to 52 players from 26 states, covering their boarding, lodging, and an international education curriculum. These players have been scouted by BFI's Talent Research Wing during the recent U-13 and U-16 national championships.
