For a businessman who built one of India's largest infrastructure empires, Gautam Adani's vision for the company as described at the Adani Group's 30th Annual General Meeting on Wednesday was something new.

The next chapter, he suggested, will not be defined only by bigger ports, larger airports or more renewable energy projects, it will be about changing how the conglomerate works from within.
