Viewers all breathed a sigh of relief as the Beyond Paradise final saw DI Humphrey Goodman (Kris Marshall) and fiancee Martha Lloyd (Sally Bretton) reunite. Recent episodes of the BBC Death in Paradise spin off have seen the couple’s relationship on the rocks after failing to come to an agreement on children.
Beyond Paradise’s sixth and final episode saw Humph travel back to Saint Marie to clear his head. Whilst he was there, he was given some friendly advice from an old friend - read more about that here.
Following the end of the six-part series, which was set in the fictional Devonshire town of Shipton Abbott, Beyond Paradise viewers were crying out for more episodes. Much like its predecessor, the series has been a huge success in the viewing figures.
