Showbiz legend Betty White's career will be brought to life at Newbridge Silverware in Kildare with an exhibition dedicated to the Golden Girl opening up.
Home to the Museum of Style Icons, Newbridge Silverware has a collection of garments, awards, and personal jewellery which once belonged to the late actress. Items on display also includes items from the actress' personal life.
Launching the exhibition, model Pat Mulcahy was pictured wearing one of Betty White’s favourite tracksuits as well as a jumper reading 'St Olafants', a nod to the fictional town from which Betty's Golden Girls character Rose hailed from. Betty's career in television and film spanned an impressive seven decades.

The much-loved entertainer died on New Year’s Eve in 2021, just days away from her 100th birthday. Betty is perhaps today best known for playing Rose for seven seasons of Golden Girls.
Her other gigs included roles in The Proposal alongside Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds, Ally McBeal and That ‘70’s Show and The Mary Tyler Moore Show. In 1952, she became the first woman to product a sitcom, Life With Elizabeth, in which she also starred.
The Betty White’s Golden Moment’s exhibition runs all summer before the property and garments will be sold by Julien’s Auctions in LA between of September 23 and 25 this year. It will be free to visit.

"We are also excited to have the opportunity to bring this beautiful exhibition to Newbridge Silverware and the Museum of Style Icons and to offer the public this unique opportunity to see the property before it goes to auction in September."
Other exhibitions that have featured at the Museum of Style Icons at Newbridge Silverware include Princess Diana, Audrey Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor, Angelina Jolie and Victoria Beckham.
